What I post this time is the action figure of Kamen Rider Zolda. Well, it's a gift. Kamen Rider Zolda is a character who shows up in Kamen Rider Ryuuki TV Show. He is one of the 13 riders in the series. The show concept is rather controversial. In spite of fighting different monster each week, Kamen Rider Ryuuki offers 'rider battle' concept which makes every rider fight each other. The battle of the riders is the unique point in the series. Thus, because there will be good riders, there are evil riders as well.
In the beginning of his appearance, Zolda is shown as a bad guy who kicks Ryuuki's ass. As the story goes, he becomes more friendly and tends to work together with Ryuuki. This rider gets the name after German word 'zolda' which means 'soldier' or 'mercenary'. All riders in Ryuuki use cards (called advent cards) to access their weapons and abilities. They use card scanner (called visor) as a command to activate those weapons and abilities. Zolda is a rider who relies on heavy artillery to fight. Most of his weapons have very strong fire power. His main weapon is a sub-machine gun, called Magnuvisor. It also functions as a card reader. Using his advent cards and his visor will activate his collections of weaponries which have ability to create massive explosion.
For this post, I use Zolda from Souchaku Henshin Series (SHS) line-up. SHS is a toy line-up with armor which can be put on and put off. The main point of attraction of this line-up is that we can open the helmet to reveal human face, open the chest armor, and the other accessories all over the figure's body. And we can put it back. But I didn't shot Zolda with armor off. I forgot to do it. Haha..
